I don't believe in global warming anymore caused by humans

Our contribution to the atmosphere is small when compared to natural events. And whether our contribution has no effect at all, or ends up being the straw that broke the camel's back will probably never be truly known. And if it can never be known, there's no reason to put ourselves out in an effort to reduce our contribution.

PARTY ON!

Next up: our pollution is causing the next ice age!

People need to stop worrying about how we affect Global Warming and Cooling. That is not the important part.

We need to worry about our toxin output into the ecosystem. Air pollution, chemical wastes, nuclear waste, etc. This will screw everything up well before a runaway greenhouse effect.

Many of the plastics we produce, which aren't recycled, degrade and leech xenoestrogens into our soil. All the soy that is now being consumed and oral contraceptives are flushing phytoestrogens and artificial progestins into our water systems. We're killing cork oak and latex rubber trees too fast, for wine and sex. We conserve power by replacing all our bulbs with florescents, but just cycle mercury into our environment. We try and cut down on sugar by producing artificial sweeteners that are poisons to us.

Blah.

At least organic foods are getting more popular. Good for humans, good for the environment. We finally killed transfat, and hfcs is next. More people recycle than ever. I hope by the time I retire, our culture has completely shifted to eco-conscious (and informed) habits.

is that really how quickly you change your mind about something? You watch one show and now your view of the entire world has changed.

This post completely changed my view on the subject of changing your mind about things.

😛

I'm waiting for the OP to create a new thread after he watches an Al Gore documentary or something.
