I do a lot of beta testing - What software is good to back up my configuration?

After multiple betas I'd like to be able to restore my system an earlier state after I'd just installed Windows and my drivers.

What software is recommended for this operation?

Norton Ghost or Acronis True Image. I prefer Acronis because it will burn you a bootable program CD, useful since laptops no longer have a floppy drive (Ghost makes boot floppies).

Where I used to work we had Ghost on CD. Some tech made it, I forget how and I don't own Ghost so I can't play with that.

Ghost is real easy though, especially if you have a spare drive to save as your original install. You can probably burn an image of the drive to a dvd too.

Acronis True Image is what I use. Have only had to restore once but was very glad I spent the cash for this program. I use it with my Maxtor external drive.
