I just got Cox express cable inter net installed and I noticed that web pages load slower than they did on my old 56k modem, but I download files @ 80K+. Whats wrong here ?

have you tried any registry patches for broadband? Such as those found at DSL Reports? For many people, these patches, which change things such as the maximum number of connections, maximum transfer unit (MTU) size, etc., make the difference between 60 and 150k per second. But that doesnt explain slow page loading, unless you were referring to only one particular web site, which some wahoo runs off of his win2k server at home over a dialup line, otherwise you really shouldnt experience that.
