NoScript was giving me odd issues in Firefox. I decided to look for a replacement and found ScriptSafe.

I like it because it feels less bloated and seems easier to use. So far I am happy.

Thought I would share my experience with others having issues with NoScript.

From its github page its last commit was from december 2017 so i would be slightly hesitant to switch.

I'm ok with NoScript. It seems to work alright. I don't like it as well as the older version, but I have few substantive complaints. I was testing out uMatrix for awhile, but it was too complicated imo. I may not have put in sufficient effort to learning, but it was more work than I wanted.

I actually don't use NoScript any more.

Then again, on my main PC, I sometimes see a very brief flash of something on my screen. Hidden exploit pop-ups caused by rotating JaveScript ads that are poisoned? Maybe.

I found that the level of overall "breakage" on sites was just too high. I do use an AdBlocker, PrivacyBadger, and enable Tracking Protection in Firefox on all pages.

I also don't care for the newer version on NoScript. I'm using it along with Ublock Origin and it's a constant battle trying to get sites to work. You allow one thing and another 6 appear.

Does anyone here use Ghostery? I was using an older version but that version doesn't work after I updated firefox. Is it safe to use the newest version? To be honest I only used Ghostery so I knew what not to allow in my other two extensions.
