My feet have lots of dead skin like this, although not as severe:

Now whenever I try to clean my feet in the shower, it's annoying because of the seemingly endless dead skin coming off. They roll off like eraser droppings. I tried scrubbing it off with a scrub towel, but it's just not good enough.

It's not so much about being clean. It's the OCD nerd in me that wants to get rid of them all. I told my fiance about it, then she laughed and gave me this thing called... pumice stone:

It's basically a highly porous stone that perfectly traps and RAPES dead skin. So I took this strange device of the women and gave it a go.

HOLY CRAP. In mere 3 strokes, my feet were buffed down to raw red new skin. The whole feet were squeaky without a single grain of that eraser stuff.

Feels so good...

amazed you had never heard of one before

Sadly I've seen it lying around all the time growing up. I just thought it didn't do anything special that a regular abrasive scrub couldn't do.

I was terribly wrong.

A couple of years ago I had pain walking and a foot doctor gave me a pumice stone and to use it on my calluses.
It works great.

Get a natural stone for a real treat. They're aesthetically pleasing, and the work a bit quicker, though you also have to be more careful so you don't go too deep.

Get yourself some Vitamin E cream and that will fix your feet right up. My feet used to be worse than the OP pic.

They have a metal cheese shredder like thing that is even more aggressive at skin removal.

That has to be gimmicky. No way that can compare to the whole surface swipe of a pumice stone that doesn't miss one spot.

That's actually been banned from most areas because of infections.

I wonder if cats could be utilized. Dip your feet in tuna water, and let the cats lick it off :^D
