i didn't want a burned "copy" just a copy.

my thread here got locked because i wanted a copy of quake too. a legit copy i never said burned or back-up. i bought it of geoffs, a full legit legal copy so why did i get locked? not to be mean or anything but a lock seemed a bit hasty since i hadn't done anything wrong. o well i got what i wanted so realy had no further need for the thread.

It just looks like a miscommunication/misunderstanding and it was locked "just in case". There is a zero tolerance for warez so it's appropriate to lock it considering the verbiage used in the thread.

Yeah really - anything that you buy, like a CD, DVD, or videotape, is just a copy of the original.:)

I think the thread went down hill when ManuelKu implied other than legit... a burn. Since you got what you needed as you stated it is moot now.
