I've seen them in all kinds of rediculous things. They have too much time on their hands around here, methinks.

The police in my city drive:

Crown Vics (with three different paint schemes)
Impalas
Tahoes
Expeditions
Durangos (both 2004 and older models)

And this is a city of 100,000 people. That woman is an idiot.

In Saint louis the cops have a fleet of silver unmarked Silverados.

But I usually see them behind 18 wheelers on the shoulder, searching the back, so I assume they are part of the drug control program.

I've seen them with cars pulled over from time to time.

Let's see, the car of choice in my township is the Crown Vic, there are also some explorers for the K9 unit.

Never seen a cop in a pickup before.

Here we have...
Crown Vic Interceptors in 3 body styles (New, mid-90's, 80's and 2 paintjobs - state and county, marked and unmarked)
Grand Marquis Interceptors (Heh. Just HEH. Just normal CV Interceptors with Mercury badging and front clip. All unmarked, new body)
Mustangs (Unmarked, GT appearance on a Cobra engine)
Camaros (Marked and unmarked)
80's/90's Jeep Cherokees (A few of the supervisors, marked)
Chevy Express, marked
GMC Savvana, marked
Chevy Astro, marked.
Explorers, marked & unmarked.
Suburbans, marked & unmarked.

Rumors of some confiscated rice-rockets driving around with lights behind the grille and on the dash. I wouldn't put it past them.

We have police (state and local) driving in F-150s, Dodge Rams, Cameros, Mustangs, Surburbans, and Tahoes in addition to the regualr cars (crown vics, impalas, etc.) + whatever the undercover cops and detectives drive.

police here in davis drive a pickup every now and then. i think they have like 2 in the squad, the station is near my apt so i can see their cars in the lot while the cops are munching doughnuts
