Except... you didn't fall "one inch short of the goal line"...

you had the football.. ran from the 50... stopped at the 1 yard line.. and laterraled the ball to the opposing team, allowing them to run 99 yards for a touchdown.

OP good luck next time. The job wasn't meant to be. I think I had a 100&#37; rejection rate from the recruiters and all the jobs I was applying to when I was in my last year of Uni. Got one shortly after Uni that paid badly then I got a lucky break at a finance it firm and I'm laughing now on my 3rd job. Just stick with it.

Recruiters don't like wishy washy pansies.

I assume the first thread is about a previous job offer. I doubt they would take three months to hire the next guy on the list after he turned it down.
