I did the mistake of logging into youtube with my regular youtube account, on my phon

Now it basically registered that as being my account and wants to sync stuff and link everything etc... I don't want any of that stuff to be linked, it's why I made a separate account for the phone, but now Google knows that those two accounts are mine. Am I screwed, or is there a way to reverse this?

I still need to look into getting rid of all the Google crap from the phone, I just did not get around to looking into the details of how to actually do it such as how to load custom roms etc.

on your PC, go to google, sign out, then accounts, delete account.
signing out is counterintuitive, but it works.

I don't want to actually delete the account, it has lot of youtube videos. I just don't want google to associate it in any way with my phone or vise versa.

Edit: Oh nm, in your link I followed those instructions and it worked. I thought you meant actually deleting the account itself.

no, it doesn't delete it. it just unlinks it.

I originally thought he meant to actually delete the google account, but then I realized that was not the case, and I followed the instructions, and it worked.
