I downloaded a bencmark app futuremark. What do these results mean? How would say an athlon 64 x2(4200 or 4400 ) do?

total score was 4480

It means little to nothing by itsself other than your machine is pretty fast. Benchmarks come into usefulness by comparing them to other systems. So if you make a system modification run it again to see if perf drops or goes up.

to get 4500-5000 on 3dmark 05 is good score . now when dual cores are out in full force have to see what they do.
