I decided to play Civilization II today.

It's an old game... they probably didn't bother actually sleeping when waiting for you to do something but instead continuously check to see if you hit a key or something. Just set it to a lower priority so it doesn't interfere with whatever else you're running. Note that you'll have to set the priority of "ntvdm.exe" since you can't set it directly for "civ2.exe".

Er, parody topics usually work best if you make the topic in the same forum as the other one. Otherwise, as the other two said, pretty much all games that aren't Solitare or Minesweeper will bring your CPU to 100%.

Its an awesome game. Civ2 can use 100% of my CPU any time it likes.

I still play that game, played it for 5 hours straight the other day. One of the best games ever made.

I actually installed it 2 weeks ago, didn't catch my interest this time though. Even though I did have a very well functioning war machine
