PS2 has a game library that is 1000x as large as that of the Xbox (including all the PS1 games).

PS2 games can be backupped, Xbox games can't be.

In Japan, the already dead Dreamcast outsells the Xbox, which makes the Xbox deader than the Dreamcast.

Japanese developers hate the Xbox.

I cannot understand how anyone who claims to be intelligent would waste money on an Xbox.

why dont you just stick it out 1 more month and see what E3 has to offer for each system, then make your choice?

For anyone pro-PC and anti-XBOX, think about the fact that more than one person (locally) can play on the XBOX at the same time. How often can you say that about PC games? Not everyone is set-up the same way so don't think everyone has a nice LAN at home for FRIENDS to come over.

I bought the XBOX back in November and I've always been a PC guy. Must get that 2nd controller or having the XBOX really is pointless in my opinion. So far I only have Halo and Project Gotham Racing because the other games have not been worth $50 in my opinion... but I haven't tried most of them from Blockbuster yet. If you ever want to be frustrated and heavily challenged at the same time, get Project Gotham Racing. Can't wait for Unreal Championship (UT2k3 on PC too) and the new MechWarrior game (forgot the exact name)... I'm salivating already.

<< waste of money...

oh wait no, buy it and dont buy any games. I read that M$ takes a $150 hit on each console sold... if everyone buys one.... hmmmm :)

Uhhh....or you could not buy one, which would cost them $450...

I say good choice.

I just finished up playing another set of Halo mp games last night using xbconnect against my brother and his friends and I must say that is awesome...it is also refreshing to:

A. not care about the System, unlike with a computer where you use a keyboard and mouse and sit right at the system, with Xbox you can play multiplayer FPS on your couch with only a controller, which leaves room for making a mess and not caring.

B. everyone is on the same level, no hardware differences, only your internet connection and your skills can be your crutch.

c. game looks great on a larger TV instead of dealing with my much smaller 19" monitor.

Good luck with the nex Xbox, I really like mine and I am not a console person.

<< go america!! down with sony!! >>

The Xbox is made in Mexico and Hungary by Flextronics. It's about as American as a piñata.

Listen to me, you are one lucky son of a bi**h. Yesterday, I went to my friend's friend's place. We had one bigscreen set up, one projection tv on the wall, and another tv setup, and had 10 people playing Halo. Man, it was soo much fun. And I'm not a gamer, so I've never done a LAN party or anything, and so I guess this was just about the closest thing. We hooked up Three XBox's together, and it was unbelievable. 10 people all in one room playing Capture the Flag, or Crazy King of the Hill.

I would buy the freaking Xbox just for that game alone. But, no money right now :(

Man, you are going to have some fun with that.
