StudioGangster,

Try another Target. I've been to three Targets in the last two days. All were within 15 miles of eachother. Two of them had the i-cybies scanning at $45. The third was priced at $90 or so (but for some reason a lot of their other toys were cheaper than the first two Targets so I ended up buying some trains, etc at this last one).

There was a lot of variation in the prices on the clearance toys, in general. It seems like they are all still in the middle of getting all the mark downs and are trying to catchup (one of the Targets I went to had about six employees moving all the clearance toys from one isle to another, marking things as they went).

They all still had several i-cybies left (this was in the western Mpls, MN area).

Like I said earier, Kmart seems to have ended their 75% off electronic pets sale (that got me my first i-cybie for $42) so it looks like they are no longer an option to getting one (unless you can price match Target's price. But they wouldn't even match their own price that I just paid on Monday so I doubt if they will match Target's clearance price).

Here is a scan of the Target receipt. Maybe it will help someone get a price match...

I found 4 I-cybies at the local Target, unfortunately they were $90 and I double-checked it with the price scanner.
Does anyone have any idea what day of the week Target usually marks down prices?
The next nearest Target is 1-1/2 hours away and I don't feel like driving that far for a robot dog!

Do any of you guys think that these are annoyingly loud? I find that the whining of the motors gets tiresome after about 3 minutes of activity. Oh well, I'm sure my kids won't care.

I read the other post of the $39.99 I-Cybie at someone local Aldi. I did go to my local Aldi and found the store does have a few I-Cybie and Boomers. But, the price for the I-Cybie is $64.99, half of the old price. Boomers are $19.99, again half off.

I can see the I-Cybie gathering dust, since the holidays have past.

Went to the closest Aldi with cash in hand, but they were $69.99

Ran over to Kohls, and their clearance is now 33% off of clearance prices, making them $80

I won't stop until I find one for $40!!

Best confirmed price on my end, is $69.99 at Aldi so far.

Some have found $45 at Target, $42 Kmart, and $40 at Aldi. Forgot to ask if Kohls pricematches :)

I was at the Aldi in Wheaton, IL last night...they had an electronic dog...but it was a cheap knock-off, not an i-cybie.

YMMV

I went to my local Aldi's - they were $99.99.

I'd never gone to this store before and now I know why!!
Maybe it was just the one I was at, but what a dump!!

I stopped at Aldi's, too, and I had never been there before. The iCybies were $99, but I did pick up 2 lego sets for $14.99 for my kids ($34.99 in the lego catalog), an IBM mulimedia surge protector for $5.99 for me, and a box of cookies for $1.69 for my mom. I agree with the post above, the place if not pretty, but the deals I got were not too bad.

<< What's up with Aldi not providing phone numbers on their website to their stores. >>

There are about 4-5 Aldi stores in our area, with only one listed in the phone book.
When I called, I let it ring about 30 times and no one answered.

Judging from the look of the one I was in, they don't even have a phone!
It looked like they could pack the place up and skip town at any time!! :Q

Thanks for the walmart.com update! Title and lead post have been editted. Thanks for continueing the hunt!

Updated the lead post with:
Kohls.com has them back in stock at $80, but Walmart.com has them for $60

I'm assuming the Aldi price will fall, hopefully in half, in the next couple weeks. Still locally (Milwaukee area) $69.99

Or, when Kohls get's to their 75% off clearance price, $120 - 75% = $30! They might have enough to get there!

Apparently there are 2 Aldi stores in my area. Neither one is listed in the phone book. Weird. I guess not having a phone is one way they save on costs so they can sell stuff cheap.

Kohl's B&M and Kohls.com now has the I-Cybie for $59.95 ($119-50%off). Does anyone know when their prices are suppose to drop to 75% off?

I just picked up 2 i-Cybies at Best Buy for $24.95 a piece. They were located next to the video game aisles with a few other misc. electronic toys. It might be a good place for others to check.
