Glad to hear your allright man. Sucks about the bike :(

Its one of those situations they warn you about in MSF courses (well, some of them). I hope suziki gives you a GSXr 600cc for a loaner ;) :D

well I wish they would give me a loaner.. but I have the car, so for a few days I will drive that around for a few days.

True they state that in the MSF course, but something like "engine shutting off" in gear they dont teach. Its only by experience that one gets around to know what to do.

UPDATE

Ok the insurance lady went by they looked at it. They shop and the insurnace agreed on to $2900 worth of damage repair. The shop wanted to replace the frame, but that would have meant it was totalled and the insurance agency wasnt ready for that, especially the bike is slightly over a month old with 140 miles.

Anyway I got a call from JD the owner at the shop and he said just tell the insurance lady that you arent bothered about the lower frame cosmetic damage. That means I will pay half my deductible. roughly about $250, but what JD will do since they are paying him 250 for that scratch, he will fix that for me free of charge. Its just a paint scrape the frame isnt bent or anything.

SO in about a week or two I will have my bike back... Ya!
