I crashed my car

From what I can tell, I need:

- New front bumper
- New N/S front wing
- New N/S indicator
- Other little fixings that may have broke as a result?

I'll just let the insurance sort it out.

I'd just like to point out, it was purely my fault. The car I ricocheted off was only slightly damaged, and the owner was pretty cool about the whole situation.
 
Bumper may not need replaced, I've seen good body shops fix that kind of thing and you'd never even be able to tell. 3M makes some stuff that basically fuses the bumper back together.

Did you see that crack in it? It looks like it at a mounting point. I wouldn't try to fix that bumper. I'd want a new one.
 
In your last post about getting stuck, I said some days it is best to stay home. Sorry to hear about the car crash. The bumper does need to be replaced. Drivers fender can be fixed or a new one installed depending on how much you or the insurance want to pay. May need a new headlight / parking light assembly (depends on what broke and if you just get that piece or need to buy the whole unit) .. May also need to check the wheel alignment.
 
No worries, at least you beat that kid in the Power Wheels who was trying to race you. He should know better than to mess with a BMW.
 
Glad the damage is minor.

I'm not being an asshole or sarcastic here, but is it common to drive fast cars in winter weather in the UK? I only ask because we rarely see that here. The guys driving Corvettes, M3's, etc are taking the Metro to work on snowy or icy days, that or driving some sort of SUV.

We're spoiled in the US and typically car enthusiasts own multiple cars, many in the UK don't own one car, much less two.

And since he said car park I presume he was playing around doing donuts and things and simply ran into another car. I sometimes have done this in parking lots, too, minus the hitting things part.

I didn't notice that. They look like my last set of SP8000's back when my car was still lowered. They were a liability in the rain.

I distinctly recall admitting that I was becoming an adult when I started buying things other than summer tires and wear ratings over 300.
 
Lol, cheers for the condescending comments. The car lost traction at 10Mph - 15Mph while parking up in a friend's street. By going too fast, I meant perhaps 5Mph too fast.

The car?s front tyre is only worn on the outer most edge and doesn?t need replacing. How do I know if it?s road legal? Because the car was only recently MOT?d and passed with flying colours. There?s still 4mm of tread across 75% of the footprint.

I only recently had the offside front tyre replaced, so I?m waiting for that to wear down before I replace both fronts.

I suppose these comments are just with so little explanation...

I haven't, but since I've had a company car for so long I?ve lost what NCD I previously accrued anyway.

Some places give NCD for company car drivers, but hey, it's too late now. You'll need lube when you get your renewal quote...
