Having travelled around Europe, I'm surprised anyone would buy a Hummer there. Some of the streets are so narrow that I think a Hummer would get stuck. They don't have that many wide roads there as they do in the US. Japan has the same problem too. Tight narrow roads where many people live. Thats probably why they make their cars smaller and narrower.

The main point that I am trying to make is not "Go dump your car and g obuy this mini mini." but the point is just to show others how people in another part of the world are adapting to the oil situation and are trying whatever it takes to decrease their consumption of it, the SMART car is one example but defenitly not the best, in the US, I would never drive a SMART car, WHY ? Well becasue I would be turned into a human for parts after my car gets into an accident with a HUMMER like the one in the pic being driven by a crazy hillbilly, but I would certainly considre it if it was a little more safer to drive.

That tiny thing is a Smart Car. Mercedes Benz makes them, and we have them all over the place in Canada.

I don't see the point in Hummers... any day of the week. Unless you are planning to climb a snowy mountain, I don't believe there's a purpose to a hummer. And plus, I'd rather get a M1114 Up-Armored HUMVEE. Now that's a real vehicle.

"Our direction"? It looks like both of those vehicles are in Europe. WTF does that have to do with US?

There are idiots everywhere that want to drive large vehicles. Don't stereotype one country. Especially when you post a pic that has nothing to do with the U.S.A.

P.S. I'd rather take a bus than drive that sh|tbox deathtrap.

This also applies to all the slow minded ppl that told me that this car is only available in Europe and not here in the US.
