Ok, now I have a question: Why is the "g" word (i.e., gay) unacceptable at AnandTech? That makes little to no (ok, actually just no) sense. Gay is not a derogatory word and is openly used by homosexuals to refer to their sexual orientation (and is the preferred term for male homosexuals, I believe). Plus, the post refers specifically to the title of the song linked which is a humorous parody mocking the sexual orientation of a "boy band" whose primary fan base is teenage girls, which gives it an ironic theme as well. I don't see how this is derogatory to homosexuals, and I would venture a guess that more than a few gay men wish some or all of the Backstreet Boys were indeed gay.
Ah, you have to love the PC world we live in. Lighten up -- you'll live longer. On second thought...
