Hrm. At first I was thinking "what's the difference?" Then I started saying it to myself, my translation:
"I could care less" = Your annoyance could be at a lower level than I have put it now.
"I couldn't care less" = Your annoyance has been put at a level that could not be any less than it is at this point.
Either way I don't give a sh!t. Both pretty much mean fvck off.
