Athena is absolutely beautiful. Jim Clark has quite the brain on him.

besides from raising race horses or operating a winery/vineyard.

i take it you've had your hand in all three at some point?

yachts.....stupid joint venture/ownership with the father-in-law. he already owns 3 on his own.

winery....solely a tax shelter. best money-losing hobby turned into a business.

race horses.......my boss' hobby. went with them to a ranch in kentucky only to witness the most expensive pr0n show....not sure but i think it was in the $xx,000 for the stud fee.

I like it a lot more than all the ultra-modern yachts, I guess I prefer a traditional look. The woodwork on her is just simply gorgeous.

why waste money on something you will never use, except once a year. That money could be used to help out a lot of people you care about instead of on a stupid yacht.

He'll probably be telling all of us about the need to conserve energy as well. I'll bet the supercharged turbodiesels in that thing are the latest and greatest, getting 7mpg instead of 5mpg. He's doing his part...are you??

It stands to reason that if the guy bought a sailing yacht, he probably enjoys sailing and would not spend the majority of his time in that boat with the engines running. That is unless I am mistaken and those 3 large poles on top are TV antennas - in which case he needs to invest in some modern technology. ;)

That same argument could be made for alot of things, it just depends on the scale of your income.

The guys that own these boats have more than enough money to spread it around.

And frankly, I bet he uses the boat more than once a year.

No matter how much you make, you'll never have enough money. the more you have the more you spend, thus, its never enough.
