Substitute the MSI GeForce2 TI in place of the Radeon for more kick and $1 less. :)

IMHO i'd get crucial from the source - crucial.com with the anand 15% off link saves you like 20 bux, you could use that 20 bux to get like a nicer case or better sound card or just save it

Using the AnandTech link to get 15% off crucial.com memory lets you save 3.50 over the newegg.com price. I am not sure where you get a 20.00 savings from.

I would get the Aopen 20x10x40x OEM (w/software) for $71 [save $11]
I would get a 1.2 Athlon (266FSB retail) for $115 [save $29]
Then I would get the PNY GF3 Ti200 for $172 [$42 more]

This is $2 more than your system but I would take the trade-off on the burner and CPU for the better video card. Even with the slower CPU I would think with the better video card, game performance would be at least as good if not better.

Maybe...still kinda of thinking about it :)

I'd change it to
Athlon 1600+ retail
Shuttle AK31A
Visiontek GTS-V
Maxtor 40G DX740
Lite-on 24x retail
SB Audigy oem
Evercase without PS
HEC 350W PS

You can scrap the XP 1600+ and just go for an original 1.4 T-Bird which is only $105
