As for sound quality, yeah, the Zen is supposed to be better, but I'd much rather sacrifice a little bit of quality (which I'll make up for with Etys, instead of your normal cans) for that great form factor, which will be handy to put anywhere...and it won't be hard to bring with me when I don't have a bag (say if I'm just out for a stroll or something). I worry about quality mostly at home where my equipment is.

Yeah, that's my main concern...but hey, 30 day trial period, but I'm getting an iPod regardless. I thought that the new ones have a stronger amp? I guess we'll see...I really don't want big earphones, so maybe I'll check out the new canalphones from Shure or something. We'll see.
