i can't wait till pentium chips are $2 each

Why wait? You'll be surprised how many people have systems just lying around waiting to be stripped down. I've snagged 1 x PPro 200, 2 x P-233, 1 x P-166 MMX, 1 x P-133, 5 x P-75, 2 x Cyrix 6x86 PR200, and a whole buttload of 486es just by asking people around the office. Plus there are other goodies like video cards, sound cards, modems, and network cards (3 x 3Com 905Bs!!!!). Some Pentiums are being retired soon and I've got my greedy mitts ready.

Go out there and start some "Social Engineering"

what are you going to do with those? They're a waste of space, and if you actually run it, a waste of time and electricity.

i work in a state university, which means its government. To throw away a non-working 6 year old dot matrix printer thats worth $.10 in scrap metal, i have fill out 2 pages of paper work with all the confusing codes you can find. else its considered stealing if i throw it away and they will arrest me.

beat mania: You'll be surprised what you can do with a old Pentium. Toss together $20 worth of parts, toss on FREESCO, and sell it as a router for $100 - $150. Not bad for 30 minues of work.
