I can't stop coughing

I have to go into a meeting in a few and I'm going to scare people.

If your taking that stuff you should avoid taking any over-the-counter meds along with it unless you talk to your doctor first.

I suggest some strong cough-drops like Halls or Vicks menthol.



Edit: Next time you get a bad cough ask for Tussinex instead ... best anti-hacking medicine I've ever tried & can be combined safely with small doses of Benadryl for some extra punch. (although this combo will knock you out)

Yeah, I'm not taking anything else. I know this stuff can have an effect if taken with other cold medications.

Not entirely sure. But I've had a constant cough for quite a while now. One theory is allergies. It's been especially bad since my two deployments to the desert, and no its not TB.

I'm suffering through the same thing. Started off with a sore throat, then a runny nose and then bad cough. Went to the doc after 2 weeks ( in the coughing stage ) and he gave me antibiotics. Its much better now but I still cough and some pleghm comin out of my nose. Might wanna get it checked if your cold has been goin on for more than a week.

I'm just getting over a nasty head/chest cold...still coughing up teh greenies...

This time, as soon as it hit, I hit the doctor up for antibiotics. I've had too many of these dammed colds turn into pneumonia...once you get that, you remain susceptible to it forever.
