Ok, so I have NEVER been a fashion sesitive/concious guy. I think this had to do with the fact that I usually end up HATING most of the clothes I buy/receive. They never fit right, etc.

So the other day my roomate throws a pair of jeans at me and sais "I bought these online, they don't fit, do you want them ?" .

These were my first pair of L-R-G Denim Jeans. I fell in love with them. They were unique as hell (noone I know, besides roomy, wears them) . They fit PERFECTLY, and they are comfortable as hell.

So I started shopping around, only to discover I cannot get them locally...and there is only 1 place to get them online : Digital Gravel

I have alreaedy purchased 2 different pairs, which brings my total to 3 . Thats more denim than I have ever had in my life :)

The best part, is that every pair is strikingly different in style/color/fit....yet they all still seem to fit me in a way that no other denim ever has. I just feel so confident in these, cuz I think I am looking really good. It doesn't hurt that I am getting lots of compliments, and "Whoa those are great, where did you get them " when I wear them out.

So now I am worried that this might turn into obsession. I was about to buy ANOTHER pair today...but I hesitated...

Is 3 pair enough ? Is it too much already ?

1) Paying $70 for jeans makes you a fashion whore. You can get equivalent weathered and feathered jeans from any store in the mall (i.e. ExpressMen, Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy) for $40-60 at the most.

2) How often do you wash your clothes? Jeans should last you anywhere from 3-7 days between washings. 3 pairs is good, but maybe look into a pair of black jeans.

1) you are right...but I have tried the jeans at Gap, BP, and Old Navy...and they NEVER fit right. I usually just never wear them. So price, in this case, isn't a factor.

2) I wash clothes when they are dirty. But the thing is with these jeans, they stand out so much that wearing them over and over again seems kinda silly.

I know...I used to always rag on women for their shopping craziness.

Now look at me.

I'm ashamed...really I am....

Wouldn't that be a reason to NOT buy any more?

Ha, that's classic. Some things shoud never be bought online.

Really? Is it necessary to wash them that often? I usually wash my jeans about once a month or so... And I live in a dirty environment... 3 days is just too way out of hand IMO... They'll completely discolour in what like a month?!

1. I am sorry, but have you ever heard of Diesel Jeans, Seven Jeans, or any other pair of jeans that are comfortable, stylin, fit great for under $70, i think not.

2. washing jeans.......can't remember the last time, but dry clean them about once a month max.

My $39.50 ExpressMen Jeans look great, get compliments, and fit like nobody's business, thank you very much. ANd yes, I've heard of Diesel, Seven, etc. etc. and yes, they fit well, but they're *jeans*. They're meant to be worn in, not pulled out for special occasions. The only pants I'll spend $90+ on are Tommy Bahamas, and only because they're more comfortable than my own skin and I get lifetime free tailoring with them.

Ah whatever. Fit is all that matters.
Who cares how much. That doesn't make you a fashion whore if you pay more for a better fitting and better looking jean.

I don't think 70 is much at all. Do it up!

I thought I was mad for spending $44 a pair for American Eagle Carbon Washed Utility Jeans. Some people are just outrageous with their purchases. I'll use my sister for an example. Sunday when we went to the mall, she bought a hat that was $48 after tax and the thing looks like a washcloth. Some company called "Kangol" I think it was. Eminem endorses it, so that might lead into some help with the company name. I wish she would have given me the $48 she spent on that hat since I'm still waiting to start my orientation for Panera Bread.

It does if you buy more pairs than you need for the sake of style.

Hence, fashion whore.

when we graduated from college and went out in the real world me and my buddy were talking about how like we won't be wearing jeans, shorts, t-shirts and the like that much anymore, boy were we wrong. I wear jeans at night all the time on the weekends and being comfy is a big plus, my jeans last probably one year at the most. so for me buying three pairs of jeans a year between $100 - $150 ain't no problem. it's not something that i buy everyday.

Not really. I really like one style of jeans too and it's what I wear 90% of the time,... the same jeans (i have 4 pair of them).
