Zalman 7000 AuCu 2 case fans, Antec 480 True Power with 2 fans, Radeon 9700 pro, not overclocking anything, carefully applied Artic Silver evenly over my P4 3.0C and my temps are??!??

39C Idle CPU, 34C Idle Motherboard under load 60C Cpu, 40C Motherboard

THIS IS F***ING REDICULOUS, I've tried all sorts of CPU coolers and none of them lower my temps, these temp monitoring probs on motherboards are bogus

aida 32 is good...

you have a mobo temp of 34°c :Q? that seems high. mine is usually around 25°c

do you know your room temps? sounds like you need an air conditioner or a Prometeia :D

Abit mobo? Abit reads high ~10-15C.

If not then I would suggest getting better case flow, Case fans with more umpf.

36-37C idle CPU and 32-34C idle with my motherboard with my Zalman 7000 and 2 low CFM fans, 53C load CPU and 39-40C load motherboard works for me, cant hear my computer except for the annoying fan on my Radeon 9700 Pro

and remember my Intel D875PBZ motherboard uses a heatsink, not a fan to cool the 875 chipset, might explain my over average motherboard temps :D

I'm in San Diego too, Pacific Beach. No A/C, I get a nice breeze that blows all the heat out the back. I'm oc'ing my Barton 2500+ to 2000Mhz (166x12), using the stock Retail hsf, no additional gunk, and have a Ti 4600 with the "blue orb" fan on it. My ps has an extra internal fan, and the is a front as well as back fan. MBM5 reports case temp as 34c, processor temp as 50c, which is pretty good, my old 2100+ Palomino ran up to 10 degrees warmer on each. But your temp does not seem unreasonably high. in comparison, unless you think it should be much lower with all the name brand cooling crap?

The beauty of the Zalman 7000AuCu is that the big 92MM fan on it spins at 1350 in silent mode and you cant hear it and its keeping my CPU plenty cool :)

man... i guess your sig aint kidding... you like it quiet!!

thats the only thing with quiet, its slow to cool... i have a slk 900u strapped on my p4, with a panaflo 92mm high output on top... i used to have an 80mm vantec on it until i went INSANE ( i already have 2 in the back :Q )... it has almost the same output (little less) as the vantec jet engine had... my temps are still too high tho, 36°c idle with a chilly breeze blowing in, whats gonna happen when its 75°f outside ( got no ac either)???

im either gonna go watercooling or rig something with a little frige i have sitting in the basement ;)
