I have no clue what's wrong with the system. WinMe just either freezes or reboots my system during the installation of games. So far I've tried to install Mechwarrior4 and Rogue Spear.
One very strange thing is that the same thing is happening under Win98se.
I had it Ghost as I started to dual boot with Win2k. At that time all games installed and ran fine, but when I restored everything as it were, I can never finish installing any games at all.
Usually, two things happen, first I get green (under WinMe) or red(under Win98) on the top of blank screen during a game installation, then the system either becomes frozen or reboots by itself.
I'm overclocking my 1.2Ghz T-bird to 1.4Ghz, but I even tried the installation with the CPU to default. Help!!
