Assuming some actual action comes as a result of this stated intent, thanks Donald! That is a good thing. It is a very small good thing, so please don't point to this as if you've solved a much bigger problem, but thanks anyway for the contribution.

This is an interesting point - as we've been shown over and over, there's no difference between this "scary looking" AR-15 and this more "normal looking/hunter's rifle" AR-15. Yet it seems the mass shootings almost always are commitment with the AR-15 that is all decked out to look like something from the latest action movie or installment of Halo. There does seem to be a strong psychological component empowering these people to look like a badass... feel like a badass... act like a badass.

Obviously that's not THE problem, but just possibly another layer to it.
Pass a law that all semi-auto firearms MUST be painted pink with a Hello Kitty emblem on them.

A token gesture with minimal impact that I will still have to see to believe. Dump has no credibility, even with his own party, and republicans are the epitome of corrupt incompetence. We'll see.
