This is an interesting point - as we've been shown over and over, there's no difference between this "scary looking" AR-15 and this more "normal looking/hunter's rifle" AR-15. Yet it seems the mass shootings almost always are commitment with the AR-15 that is all decked out to look like something from the latest action movie or installment of Halo. There does seem to be a strong psychological component empowering these people to look like a badass... feel like a badass... act like a badass.

Obviously that's not THE problem, but just possibly another layer to it.

A token gesture with minimal impact that I will still have to see to believe. Dump has no credibility, even with his own party, and republicans are the epitome of corrupt incompetence. We'll see.

Now the NRA rears its ugly head as lawmakers try to reach a bipartisan agreement on this. They don't want a permanent solution enacted by Congress only an agency rule that can easily be removed once the heat dies down. Its time to do something about this menace to society.
