i can't get my sound working properly in linux 7.1
I HAVE A TBIRD
1.3 gig 266 bus
geforce 2 generic (ibm) its got good ram and runs like geforce 2 gts
sbl value
I fooled around in kde and gnome
When I rebooted I got some desktop theme sounds that I set for a test and said YEA!
But I cant get a cd to play What do I need to do to get my sbl value to work with all y audi and video equipment? BTW I wa really suprised because this is the distro that ever installed my network card, configured my browser, email etc. I was shocked to see how much they made like a microblowsoft install. Thrn I tried the sound. I said to mysel...SELF ! ....if this sound cartd is auto configured too, then I would truely be amazed. Unfortunately it wasnt the case but thenm I went into the bios and turned off plug and pray OS and rebooted and then set the sound . Lo and behold it worked! But please, someone tell me how get my cd to play and maybe a little help with mp3's.Texti can't get my sound working properly in linux 7.1i can't get my sound working properly in linux 7.1
