I used to weigh only 120lbs just a year ago, now I'm well over that and people are starting to call me muffin top. I have nice round teeth otherwise. I like to eat but I'm going to add more vegetables to my current diet. That should help a bit.

There's a gym inside my building and I'm going to start working out. What's a good 2 hour 3-4x a week regime for reduction of fat in the waistline? I hear squats are good. Running bores me.

To lose weight, you should really do a combination of weight training and cardiovascular exercises.

Weight training/Strength training:
Benchpress
Bicep Curls
Tricep Extensions
Dumbbell Rows
Squats
Lunges
Pull-ups
Push-ups
Crunches
...

Cardio (Start with LISS, Low-Intensity Steady-State):
Cycling
Rowing
Elliptical

Weight training is on oft-overlooked component of weight loss. Increasing muscle mass will increase your 'base-level' metabolism. Simply put, muscle burns more calories than fat, even at a rest state.

Cardiovascular exercises are good for blowing calories, which in turn, burns fat.

Remember, the only way to lose weight (fat weight) is to run at a calorie deficit. Burn more calories than you eat!

Problem with building muscles is that during a rebound, you really rebound. That's basically what happened to me.

Don't go overboard with the caloric surplus.

1) Read the sticky
2) Follow StrongLifts 5x5 (or SS)
3) Track calories aiming for 12xBW as a starting point.
4) Aim for 1g/lb in protein
5) Track your weight from week to week and adjust calories based on results. If you're losing between 1-2lbs a week, keep things the way they are. If not, adjust up or down 10%.

Wait, are you male or female? What are your complete stats (age, height, weight). Also, why did you buy brand new pants that didn't fit?

29 Male. I'm 5'5 currently 145 (all in the waist) and I buy pants that are fitted. Otherwise I'm very athletic and have a med/slender body type.

If you read the "Fat loss" sticky that I've posted, you'll find some useful info in there. It should help you out.

"I have nice round teeth otherwise."

No one's questioned this yet? LOL, I'm still trying to figure out what it means.

I didn't understand it either. I thought I might as well not ask questions, since it seems that the answer could be equally weird and/or awkward.

A quick Google search brought me to these possibilities:

"The gear should nice round teeth" - Possibly stating that he is well manufactured, has minimal wear, and functions efficiently.

"Pulled the overly creepy 'nice round teeth' compliment" - Seems like this one is stating that the individual has, in fact, nice round teeth. Seems to me that round teeth would look pretty odd, as set forth in the following possibility.

"The nice round teeth make her look more like a bunny though." - No explanation necessary.
