I can't find a good Firewall

I followed the advice in the security thread, but so far I'm not having any luck with any of the recommended firewalls. I'm looking for one that rates high/fairly high in leak tests. My main need for it is outbound connection protection, since I have a hardware firewall built into my router. I may need the standard inbound firewall protection if I connect to a foreign network. And no I don't know too much about what I'm doing since the only firewall I used before was Zonealarm.

I tried Ghostwall but it doesn't block outgoing connections.

I tried The Jetico personal firewall since it ranked high on the leak test, but I couldn't get it configured correctly.

I've also tried Comodo but everytime it's running and I put my computer in hibernate and when I come back and take it out of hibernate it takes about 20-40 secs. longer for it to connect to my network. It also doesn't connect properly sometimes and gives me a slower LAN connection with an exclamation point on it.

I stopped using Zonealarm because no matter how I configured it, it stopped me from sharing files on my network. Other than that and it's low performance on the leak test I've mentioned, I had no problem with it.

And also if this document is correct Leak Test
Zonelarm, Sygate, and Kerio rated low on the leak test. I also should have mentioned that I'm looking for free firewalls.

A good router and maybe XP's or Vista's built-in firewall is all you need.

I have a router that has a firewall built-in, the main reason I need a software firewall is to control my outbound connection(software on my computer trying to access the internet).
And also to protect me when I'm not connected to my router.

XP's firewall does that just fine (controlling individual programs' Internet access).

lol, good luck getting a free GOOD firewall if you can't even find a GOOD pay firewall.
