i cant do anything, i feel faint and weak :(

marijuana will calm your nausea and help bring your appetite back. just go to the ghettoist gas station in town and wait outside for someone to rape you and kill you. at least you wont be sick anymore

If it's been going on for more than three days, then maybe you should see a (wait for it) DOCTOR.

If not, then it's food poisoning.

You are getting new bacteria. Prepare yourself for augmentation. 😛

Keep drinking water though... And try to eat some bread like this for the next 48 hours : (I do not know the proper translation)

But use brown bread with lots of fiber. Add cheese and ham of course...Or use cheese and salami...

Paninis cure food poisoning? That's quite a miracle.

It is more the toasted bread with a lot of fiber in combination with a lot of water that usually works. The cheese and salami (or ham) just add flavor to the toasted bread. Just scrubbing your intestines clean and making sure you do not get dehydrated in the process. Your little friends living inside of you together with your immune system will do the rest. After that a lot of nutrients are needed to restore the unbalance : Fruits and vegetables, and do not forget baked or boiled eggs for protein.

Interesting point. I always wondered what state does bread and heavier food stay in as they travel in the digestive system. Are you saying that the physical integrity of the food persists all the way into the large intestine? I know meats last a while but I considered bread to be easier to brake down.

Add yogurt to the list of things to eat after a bad round of intestinal flu. If you've had the squirts for several days you'll want the active bacteria/pro-biotics in that to help rebuild good flora in your gut.

I am sure it breaks down to some fiber slurry. But the intestines are lined with muscle that non stop squeeze the food slurry. But when you have the turbo number 2, your body just want to flush everything out as rapid as possible. Maybe because of the "flushing" the enzymes do not get the chance to process all food. For as far as i know anyway, high fiber content is only processed in the large intestines because the little bacteria are much more skilled to deal with it. But since there is non stop "flushing" going on, i assume the high fiber content scrubs the intestines small and large, clean. Maybe not the real explanation, but i know it works for me. Although i usually consume cola zero with toasted bread when i have fallen victim to racetrack number 2.

I just read about it, in some cases it might not be handy to eat high fiber content food to slow down transit time of the food. When the body tries to dump the content of the intestines because of food poisoning as fast as possible, fiber may cause the opposite effect. Depending on the cause of the diarrhea, it may not be a good idea to try to slow the "flushing" down by eating high fiber content food.
