I can't delete a folder off my domain!!!

help! i made a folder called newspro because i wanted to use newspro. i cant delete the folder itself. does anyone know how i can fix this? please help. ive posted in the software forum but it gets NO looks, so i can only hope someone here will know what to do, thanks!

You might not have the ability to delete. You might have the ability to add, edit, execute, etc., but just not delete. Kinda sounds stupid, but ... eh. Who's your webhost? Consider sending them a request for information on how you can get authority to delete folders that you make or something. If not, just ask them to do it. If you're hosted through DixieSys, just call Gary directly and bitch. Works every time

Login through SSH and look at the ownership of the directory. Chown the file to your account and "rm -r directorname"

Perhaps the client you are using does not allow the deletion of non-empty folders.
