I'm looking at the sprint Mogul, the ATT Tilt, and the VerizonXV6800. They all seem very similar. Which one would the anandtech forums recommend? I'll be using it as a modem for my laptop, outlook mail, mobile browsing and assorted other things. Right now i'm leaning toward the tilt. any input?

The XV6800 and Mogul are the same phone - the HTC Titan. The Tilt is better than the Titan.

However, you're going to want to look at the total solution before making a decision. AT&T's network is not quite as well-developed as Verizon's, and Sprint generally has the best EVDO ("3.5G") coverage, as well as the lowest prices.

I believe it has more RAM...I think...I know for sure it has a tilt screen (hence the name), where as the Titan has a slider...

As a Titan/Mogul user, it's OK. Supposedly, everything will be better with the new firmware come 1Q '08 with GPS & EVDO RevA. It's kinda slow sometimes now, but a good phone...

I hopped onto Sprint SERO and I can tether my phone to my laptop and enjoy EVDO. The speed is a welcome change from the T-Mobile data I was using earlier. SERO costs $30 and includes 500 minutes, unlimited data and unlimited text.

NewEgg seems to have the best price on the Tilt. Just FYI.

Mine should be here tomorrow; I can't wait! :D
