I can't boot XP Pro from an external hard drive.

I tried to install Windows XP on a external usb hdd. The first part of installation (copying files from the cd...) was ok. After that, Windows has to restart, but when it tried to boot for the first time, right when the black Windows screen appears (the loading drivers process I believe), I get a blue screen with error 7b, I think. It hung there, I restarted again, same problem. Any ideas?

I'm using an Athlon 64, Western Digital USB Hard Drive, DFI LanParty Pro UT nF3 250Gb. Anything else needed?

ANY IDEAS??
