Hi.
I had win98 installed on my machine and I thought I would go with dual boot by installing win xp.
I divided the main partition into two by using partition magic. When I was creating the new partition for win xp, the wizard asked whether I want to set the new partition as active so I can install and boot from it.. so i checked the box.
Now.. after all is done and reboot and installation. I can not go into Win98 anymore. When it boots, there are 2 options in dos boot manager thingy. one is something like,.. "old operating system on c driver" and ther other one is Windows xp professional.
Now.. after I made the newpartition as active, the new partition became the new C drive and the partition which win98 was on became "hidden" and no drive letter is assignend to it.
When i select the old operating system, I get an error saying non-system disk, can't boot ...or something like that..
Is there any way to get the win98 to boot? Please help..
