Help!!.....I want to get rid of the linux install (1 full partition) from my hdrive. Even with a boot disk in and first boot device the floppy, it goes directly to Lilo linux boot. I've tried 3 boot disks, F8 and shift key upon reboot, to no avail . any suggestions?

That's a problem with the BIOS or the hardware, not Linux. If the disk is the 1st boot device then Linux isn't even loaded yet to make a difference.

Have you edited your lilo.conf to make an option for the floppy drive? If you put the floppy in your lilo option, you could then maybe select the floppy disk, boat off of it, and the fdisk /mbr ????

Do you have a normal floppy in the machine? If not then some boards (like my Abit KT7E) don't see the LS120 as a floppy device when it comes to settint it as a boot item. I have to explicitly set this to LS120 and not floppy. That was probably you're problem.
