i can't believe it,my first high score on bowling!

i know it sound stupid but i got a 224. my previous performance is aways 180-190. pure luck! anyone had a good lucky score,too?

I have a high game of 261, but I used to bowl in scratch leagues/etc. Not just pure luck.

I took bowling 101 in college... no I'm not joking, I really did. I was averaging about 190 or so at the end of the semester. hahaha

I go bowling about four times a year, so I'm not too sad that my high game is only around 170.
Our local bowling alley has radar guns on the lane, so my friends and I go for speed as well.

It's funny....when I bowl, my first game is always around a 110 or so... By the second game, I'm a 6 pack into it and I start hitting 180-190. I never bowl hooks....I wanna learn that.

I got 275 once.. and yes, that was pure luck, because I have only had 2 games over 200 (10 pin)
the other 200+ game was 222
the rest are sub 200, I did, however have about a 140 average. mind you i was only about 13 at the time.

Once bowled a 255 back when I was throwing a straight ball. Best is a 280 with a reactive resin back when I was in leagues...about 6-7 yrs ago.

Sadly I bowled a 299. Never have gotten that chance again. I was on a league with my dad.

Edit: The 10 pin even wobbled almost completly over a full pin spot but didn't go down

I just never got back into bowling. At least I know it's possible as my mechanics were sound. Ran a 199 average.

I have a 16# Quantum Raven in the closet. Kind of funny having a ball with the same name as a video card.

My best was a 277 in '86. I was using a 16# hammer at the time. Should've been a 300 but I was robbed in the 1st frame with a 6-7-10 and didn't pick it up. :| 11 strikes later finished the game. That was pretty good considering I was a 190 ish bowler in my league.

I average between 90 and 110 when I bowl. I suck ass. But one night years and years ago, I hit a turkey in the last frame and ended up with 160. I was so excited (read: lame) that I carried a printout of the scoreboard in my wallet for three weeks.

I would be excited if I hit 160. Don't know about printing the score out though...
