I just talked to this buddy of mine and he says that he will no longer go out to eat for lunch with me b/c he is scared of getting SARS!!!:Q:confused:

yeah the paranoia is going overboard... it's really quite stupid..... cant go about not living your life.... gotta take the small(!) risk.

I'm going to show up to work wearing a kevlar outfit, but I"m not driving to work b/c I could get hurt or killed on the way. I guess I'll have to work from home or walk very carefully to work. I still have to go pick up my respirator and some filters on the way though

i don't understand why people who aren't even in a high risk area get paranoid.

as for myself, i really am starting to get scared. i work at the airport and in a position to be in contact with people from asia. definitely not a laughing matter.
