Is this normal?
If I were to lift weights at 8pm, I would be up until 3-4am. Anyone else have this problem after lifting?

I have the same problems sometimes after Monday night volleyball. The other guys think it's adrenaline. Try lifting earlier?

I didn't have the energy earlier. Now I do. Oh well I am gonna lift anyway. Maybe a hot bath afterwords will help.

Same for me, there've been times I've all but passed out (the old "I'll just rest my eyes a sec" routine) after lifting.

So lift weights earlier in the day. Get up way early and work out before work/school/preschool/daycare or whatever it is that you go to. ;)

I dont have the energy for a good workout in the morning. I jog when I get home.
I tend to get that itchy feeling to lift weights around 9pm. I just have this built up energy I need to expend on something.

Try doing some aerobics in the morning a little at a time and go jogging with free weights earlier in the evening. As you slowly switch, you'll be throwing free weights around in the morning and jogging later in the evening, shortly before bed?

Masturbate while jogging while holding your breath.

I've tried. That just landed me a week in jail and then a plea bargain and entrance into the sex offender registry. :p

I tried that in the summer, jogging in the morning. Too cold in the winter.

Take 3mg Melatonin in capsule form.

You can find it at most grocery stores or places like GNC too.

How hard can it be to believe that once you get your body burning glucose and your metabolism going, that you're not going to be able to sleep well. Working out definately doesn't tire you out. This is taught in Psych 101.
