I cannot see a difference between the i845e and i845g except the built-in graphics.

What is the difference (performance wise)?
I know that the 845g provides 3:5 and 4:5 memory ratios, but wouldn't a good company (ie. ABIT, ASUS, EPOX, GIGABYTE, etc...) put 3:5 and 4:5 ratios in their i845e boards too? I'm confused. Thanks for looking.

845E has 3:4 ratio, not 3:5. 845G has 3:4 and 4:5.

The 4:5 ratio, graphics, and an improved mem controller are the main differences. An 845E with a 4:5 would be nice.

Looking at how good the gigabyte 8iexp is, it definitely surprises me that it doesn't have 4:5 ratio. You i845g owners don't have 3:5 ratio, kinda surprised since my sis 645 does have that. Is the i845g's memory controller different from the i845e, or is is just that 4:5 ratio? THanks.
