Which one did you have first as a child?

Any of the three you have never had?

I'm pretty sure that I had custard first. Then it was Jello. Then custard mixed with Jello.

Used to be so impatient as a kid that I would sometimes eat the hot custard without waiting for it to cool. But cold custard definitely tastes much better. And cold custard with pieces of cake or fruit (especially grapes!) is oh my!

And then one day I had pudding. There is just no comparison with custard. Pudding is mountains above custard.

Utterly no idea which I had first. Cheese seems likely, given my Wisconsin heritage.
Warm pudding fresh from the stove was quite tasty, haven't had it since my youth though.
Jell-O can fuck off, bleh.

I love cheese. I eat cheese every day. My fridge usually has fresh mozzarella, a wedge of asiago, a wedge of parmesan, and at least two kinds of cheddar.

I used to love cheese spread a lot. This was before I discovered that my body is crap at digesting foods I love. Cheese is harder for me to digest especially coz I end up eating a lot of it. The only cheese I have these days is the melted one over a pizza.

Hmm..I've always thought of cheese as somewhat salty.

Arabs are crazy about this thing https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knafeh

Don't feel like trying it. Too expensive (I can afford it but question is why???). And the ingredients make it look like a very potent glucose bomb.

Jello should be better than it is. It certainly looks fun and delicious. If you never tried to eat it, it would almost be the perfect dessert.

Don't know what I had first. I was fond of éclairs so custard (filled éclair) is my answer.

I may have a dozen different cheeses, frozen and/or refrigerated ATM, mostly from Costco:

Cheddar (Coastal)
Jarlsberg
Provolone
Mozzarella
Brie
Blue
An "adventure bag" of various mostly unnamed small chunks from The Cheese Board (Berkeley, CA)
A few others bought at Costco

Can make a custard, have a mix I concocted, add milk and egg, thicken over boiling water in double boiler

I have jello left over from colonoscopy prep

I find a lot of foods too salty, particularly chips. When I buy I look at sodium content, especially if chips. I prefer the mg of sodium to be less than calories. It's often 2-3 times that or more. I don't have high blood pressure and figure my getting used to and now preferring lower salt has something to do with that.

I like sweet food and not sweet foods, really doesn't matter, but I try to keep a lid on the amount of sugar I ingest. The stuff just isn't healthy in excess.

When I was a kid there was a truck that would roll through the neighborhood streets that sold delectable eclairs! Yeah, would never say no to one of those! They had fabulous cream puffs too. All very fresh! Yum!

Artur Rubinstein, 20th century classical virtuoso pianist extraordinaire, was wined and dined by cognoscenti in cultured places all over the earth. Noting that he said that the most delicious thing in the world is simply a can of sardines.

Benjamin Disraeli, prime minister of Great Britain, opined that the most delicious thing in the world is a banana.
