Mine's that long at least. I can get it up above the uvula in the back of the mouth and up in the back of my nasal passages....there are some flaps up there the are open or shut, depending on whether I have a cold or allergies at the time....I can get past them if they're open.

There's a bone up there that separates the nasal passages. The flappers are past that. Maybe the flappers are adenoids? Pretty sure that's what they are.
