I can only pick two out of the list...

8 Mile: Surprisingly good flick. I don't care for Eminem's music personally, but he did a good job in this.

Rules of Engagement: Decent, but I wouldn't say it was worth more than a rental.

Gangs of New York: Decent, but dragged on way too much IMHO.

Punch Drunk Love: Haven't seen it, but can't say it sounds very interesting.

Gangs of NY is good if you like history. I hated it myself
8 mile is a movie you'll ponder the purchase of in 5 years.
Can not comment on other movies.

I'm asusming you already have the grail and national lampoons X-mas vacation.

Obviously you haven't seen it. I was quite shocked after watching this film. I would say "interesting" is about the *best* description for it..
