I can NOT stop watching these (Russian) car crash compilations on youtube

Who is going to crash? Is it that guy? Oh it must be that guy who is trying to turn left from the right lane. Or maybe it's the guy who is so obviously running a red light in a busy intersection. Or the guy who is driving waaaaaay too fast for the rainy, wet conditions on this highway.

This one is #50 in some series I think and features a motorcycle t-boning a car and another incident in which someone's head comes through a side window.

I CAN'T STOP WATCHING!

NOTE: The description claims that all accidents were non-fatal.

The videos are really entertaining. They sure don't obey traffic rules, especially stopping and turning.

Wow. A lot of their intersections don't even have stop signs/traffic lights. Most of them don't even know who has the right of way, or even worse not being aware of other vehicles.
Speeding up knowing that the traffic in front of you is stopped, how stupid. ^_^

my favorite so far is the dude blasting through the country side and plows into a male cow humping a female cow--they suddenly saunter into the frame.

lol

What's more terrifying, driving in China, or driving in Russia? I think the Chinese may be worse drivers, but congestion keeps the speeds down. Russia's open enough for high speed mayhem.

Actually, right of way usually is signed; except, if you watch the videos most of the drivers just completely ignore the signs.

The "right of way" and "yield" signs are the same style as in Europe:

You do not have right of way:

The other classic moron driver crashes are overtaking past turn-offs from a main road, and people turning left from the right lane.

well, you need to try to drive in Moscow then. The Ring is regarded as one of the worst--maybe the worst traffic spots in the world. It's exacerbated by the fact that "official" vehicles are allowed to pass with impunity, their blue lights flashing, and they speed through the middle of everything.

Not only is this obviously dangerous, but it just adds to the general animosity that the average citizen feels towards their corrupt elected class.

These are relatively tame compared to the videos hosted on a certain Russian website dedicated to Russian crash vids. Youtube won't allow them.

This explains why the Russian people in northeast philly drive the way they do. I felt like I was watching live footage of a GTA game. Oh man I'm dying laughing. Especially the one where the car stops for the girls to cross and someone rear ends the guy in front, both drivers blame the girls.

lol at 2:25. dude just picks up his tire and keeps walking.

😀

Honestly, there is literally no reason to watch Nascar anymore. The sole entertainment value of that--glorious crashes--is trumped by Russian dash cam vids. Just show these on Fox every Sunday and I think the Rednecks would never realize what happened.

Add India for a great three way competition.

So much FAIL in those compilations.....how half of them get licences is beyond me....
I'm told, by someone at work who has friends and family over there, and who also does some driving there himself for a few weeks each year, that your options for getting a license there are:
- Take a driving test that's actually more challenging and rigorous than some of the state-administered tests in the US, then get your license.

or

- Buy one.

5:36 on the OP's vid, is that a dildo on the dash? lol

these people don't even wait their turn to make a turn or go through an intersection. they go up over the curb, into other lanes, lol...

I have a friend who recently moved back to Europe. He's looking to buy a car there and this is true. The driving exam is very tough compared to what we have in the US. He said a lot of people actually don't have licenses because of that and possibly because there is other transportation such as buses, better railway, etc.
