I can not open winxp encrypted file on my computer...

My computer had experienced couple of bad crash, and now suddenly I can no longer open any of the encrypted file, I can not view them, can not move them, only thing I can do is to delete which is very odd... My computer OS is WinXP profession. I did not change any of the computer name or hard drive name. Because thats what my friend suggested could have happened.

This is not General Hardware related.
