I can no longer recommend Zenni Optical for glasses.

For the past several years any time somebody asked about glasses I'd say check out Zenni because they were quality and had enough variety for both the frugal and the flagrant spender. However I've noticed in the last two years the quality of lenses keeps going down slowly. The last ones I got were off by half a cylinder in each eye, which is not blatant but bad enough the world seems fuzzy and distorted. I can't trust them any more and I don't think you should either. (I suspect Quality Control was cut to keep prices down).

I've ordered 3 pairs from them in the last year, 2 of which were progressive lenses, and they've all been fine. I've been thinking of getting a pair of sunglasses with progressive lenses too, suppose I'll bump this thread if it doesn't go well. But I haven't noticed any drop in quality over the past decade.
