I can no longer play movie files...

Ever since I updated my video drivers I can here audio, but I;m not getting any video. Before I updated my drivers, I could watch the movies. I updated to the latest official nVidia drivers for my GeForce 6800. I doubt it is codecs either, because I could watch the movies before I updated my drivers....
 
Try re-installing your DVD decoder (I'm assuming that by video files you mean your recorded TV and other MPEG files)
