I can no longer play movie files...

Ever since I updated my video drivers I can here audio, but I;m not getting any video. Before I updated my drivers, I could watch the movies. I updated to the latest official nVidia drivers for my GeForce 6800. I doubt it is codecs either, because I could watch the movies before I updated my drivers....

Go there, download divx codec 4.x and 5.x. Install them both.

then go back to older drivers
go to the system restore feature
turn your system back before it stopped working right

Try re-installing your DVD decoder (I'm assuming that by video files you mean your recorded TV and other MPEG files)
