I am paraphrasing the title, but in so many words, its what this bigot said.

http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-airbnb-discrimination-20170713-story,amp.html

The host, Tami Barker, told the woman who reserved her Big Bear cabin for a ski vacation in February that she would not rent to an Asian, justifying the action by adding in a text message, “It’s why we have Trump,” referring to President Trump.

"I will not allow this country to be told what to do by foreigners.”"

Jeebus H Christ. I am ashamed of some of my fellow Californians.

If you have time you may find this program from Forum on KQED to be interesting. It talks about two Californias and how they see each other. I love the host, a profoundly educated and liberal man who is willing to allow people with a wide range of views to speak and to listen intelligently. Liberals generally are not, I think:

https://ww2.kqed.org/forum/2017/07/...lks-californias-decline-and-political-divide/

The hoover institute is a conservative think tank and this guy is a literal neocon piece of shit who pretends to be a democrat. But great work angling for a job at Breitbart.

MOONBEAM! STOP THAT! If you're going to say something like that you should go one step further and explain how open-minded Republicans are... Oh wait... you can't.

I expect more from you than this post.

Don't you think that anybody with a shred of objectivity and indifference to the fact that I seemed to have bruised your ego, wouldn't notice that you have not only slammed me for saying liberals are having a hard time listening to other points of view, but that you did so having read what I said from a third poster who quoted what I said and that was how you heard what I said because you have me on ignore. You couldn't do a better job of affirming what I said and you deny if you tried.

The radio program I listened to I got to hear because I was in my car driving. It was for me a real treat to listen to. It contained ideas that I have only recently begun to think about, what is going on with the conservative side that makes them how they are, It was specifically directed at esquared because I have noticed in him what I would consider a much more open and intelligent thinker that baseline for this forum. In other words, for whatever reasons my poor brain and worthless intuition can muster, he strikes me as the kind of person with whom I wanted to share with him a listening experience I considered a gift. My statement about liberals was there because I consider him different, able to listen. I suspected there would be no unwillingness to listen except for the problem of time, which I also mentioned.

As you can witness here, I do what I do and you and everybody else sees what they see. I think they see themselves. They all have loaded guns and are ready to draw.

esquarted is perfectly aware that Republicans are closed minded. I have no need to tell him that. That was even the point of his thread. You seem to want to build a bond fire, throw conservative effigies on it and jump around and hoot. I don't mind, but I don't have that kind of stress to relieve. Enlightened, remember!!!!!!!!! Form is here emptiness, emptiness form and have a pumpkin. Love you in a humorous way. Oh what foods these morsels be.

Parroting & praising Breitbart isn't really a novel point of view. I mean, if people were interested, they'd just go visit the site.

Answer me Moonman! What do the Republicans have over Liberals? Is your experience that they are ever so open-minded? If that has been your experience than I may have to rethink what I think about your thinking. I've seen people accuse you of racism, of being nutters and now I'm sensing your right-wing-edness. Tell me it ain't so? If it is then your ramblings mean less and sadly may come from hate and intolerance. Don't be that guy Moonshine!

How was your trip?

*boop* <--- might be the last boop depending on how you answer. If you're a conservative, that will confuse me!

Not sure but my guess is that I got there because a skill she seems to value highly, a linguistic gift for devastating and humiliating other people is wasted on me. My good fortune, maybe, to be so far up my own asshole I don't hear anything.

Less than half a dozen entries actually. Moonbeam is the only non-degen on there. Unfortunately, he's gone so completely up his own ass he doesn't have anything useful to say...and uses a lot of words not to say it. I've had my fill of word salad, so into /dev/null he goes

Well I wouldn't word it that way Moonis but you won't hear anything... Anything outside your own head. It's a bold move! My example is this: I'm funny and you rarely do me the solid of acknowledging it. If I'm to believe a certain group of people, I'm reeeal sensitive... a "snowflake" one might say so I'ma need constant praise and validation from you on this. DO IT!

moonie feels empathy for the suffering of the low edu low iq conservative.. He knows he can never change them so he turns to the high edu liberal hoping he can change their minds.

He's recruiting for his personality cult and has trouble with the liberals, which is why he's putting feelers out to the lowest common denominator.

That was not really a snarky comment.

I've been rude and not mentioned the OP.

The idea that Hate believes and actually has a Leader is disgusting! That should concern anyone who doesn't have hate festering within them. It should be shut down, short of that it should at least be afraid to show its face. The judgement of those of us who do not accept it should shame them to silence if they won't learn. Basstids!

Younigue,: Answer me Moonman! What do the Republicans have over Liberals?

M: They are excellent geese or canaries for a mine. As the most paranoid and subject to the emotion of fear they make excellent detectors on the rare occasions when there is a real danger to be paranoid about. This is a vital survival trait that goes into action like a knee jerk, long before a plodding intellectual liberal knows the pot is boiling and it's too late to jump out. This is a skill we had that saved our precursor's bacon long before we learned to reason and still has survival value.

Conservatives also have a larger pallet of moral concerns all of which, similarly, enhance the chances of human survival.

I could go on. My father liked Reagan and Nixon and I loved him.

But the important thing is that even by asking you show an inculcated bias you were not born with. I am all about unlearning those things so for me it isn't the answers to questions that matters, but a conscious state in which those kinds of questions don't happen. When you ask a question for which the answer requires the realization of a conscious state, a different dimension, answer are only confusing as this will be.

Y: Is your experience that they are ever so open-minded?

M: The answer is that this is a null-question. I have never said or believed that they are. So that you ask that is a problem for me. Your question has nothing at all to do with anything I have said or believe.

Y: If that has been your experience than I may have to rethink what I think about your thinking. I've seen people accuse you of racism, of being nutters and now I'm sensing your right-wing-edness. Tell me it ain't so? If it is then your ramblings mean less and sadly may come from hate and intolerance. Don't be that guy Moonshine!

M: You are concerned that I may fit in a box of your own making. I am not that droid.

Y: How was your trip?

M: Great. I saved the house from the misery of horrible heat and took the two cave leeches who ejected my from my masterpiece by begging to live there instead, out to dinner.

Y: *boop* <--- might be the last boop depending on how you answer. If you're a conservative, that will confuse me!

M: I am a nobody. Conservatives are important people.

No, wannabe cult leaders are pretty well documented psych cases. Acquiring a flock is more important to them than the members or method.

You're a goofball! We are here to ask questions. Having all the answers makes living boring!

I most certainly don't want you in a box but the one you've got yourself in requires some breathing holes. Oxygen deprived is just no way to carry on a conversation. I'm not sure why I have to tell you that.

I do believe you are missing my point by a mile though I admit to not really making one. Don't judge ALL liberals in one fell swoop. Do you think I judge all conservatives/Republicans as one? I am typically very clear with distinguishing Trumpublicans/Cult 45's from their saner kin. There is a-madness a-spreadin' and is true cause for concern. No amount of your out-there-and-right addresses it. It excuses it to a degree and even surrenders to it at times but moonstream darlin' most of us don't want to give up and die because you promote your metaphorical deaths as a real hootenanny (as long as we put no value in the joy or horror of it <---- OMG, S'Lame)!

I kind of feel like you're mooning all of us like 100% of the time. Words of wisdom: that ass of yours might get chapped if you're not careful <--- sounds uncomfortable!

*boop* I can't quit [booping] you.

Well I do consider you a stray.

Where do you think I'm looking? I am fully capable of loving myself and my life AND hoping and wanting better for all even if that serves me in no way.

If you knew me Moonster, you'd know I light up every room, even outdoor parties, the moment I arrive. Strangely, my brightness doesn't ruin darkness. It makes it better! SO THERE!
