I called into work today due to weather.

so you are 19 or 20
drive a BMW z4 (poorly)
have a 14 or 15 year old girlfriend in another state.

Good luck with that.

Didn't read the thread thoroughly enough to see if this was mentioned (aside from just buying new wheels):
Look on a BMW/Z4 forum and buy a set of used stock wheels - they'll likely go for cheap. Then buy good winter tires and only use the winter tires during the winter, swap the performance wheels/tires back on when the weather is better.

Boo hoo you got a couple inches of snow and then used it to bitch out of work.

Incorrect.

What he did was make a post on ATOT disguising it as your above guess, when actually he's trying to brag to us about owning a BMW.

However, nobody gives a shit.

Speaking of lot of snow, this was a couple years back. No productivity has been harmed in the making of these pictures. I don't get why anyone would skip work over snow.

This year we don't even have close to that though. I unfortunately never took pics before that. Even those, are nothing. Add a few feet to those snow banks and the city comes to pick them up with the giant snow blower.

So, let me get this straight. You bought "better" tires, but as a result, are incapable of driving your car. lmao at "better" tires. Are you sure you didn't mean "cool looking tires?"

Sell the toy car and buy something suitable for the weather conditions, or take a cab?

Heh $1800 for tires. Really? I drive around on $450 "Whatever's the cheapest" tires and have no problem in up to 8" of snow in a little nissan altima.

I am hoping he meant winter rims + winter tires. 19" 30AR winters would suck as much as his current tires

shrug. he used PTO to cover his days off. given that it's PTO, noone at work should care why you used it. now if you didnt have time or vacation and couldnt make it in, i'd say thats a case for a nonpaid day. enough nonpaid days build up and suddenly i forsee a strong desire to go to work.

That's still not a whole lot, IMO. I'd like a good three feet..
